Two former First-Round draft picks are still Free-Agents, is it lack of consistency in play/production, or their ability to stay healthy, have they out-welcomed their stays with their previous teams, or does it come down to their contract demands. So many questions but with very few answers and many assumptions. If there is anything that players can learn from this is the willing to adapt to be able to continue their careers. Cam Newton has always been a polarizing individual however, this same characteristic trait can hold him back from a team signing him as backup QB. Jadeveon Clowney on the other hand had one of the most memorable college plays in history however, his biggest strength has been a run defender and has yet to refine his pass rushing skills to warrant his contract requests. The question is what should players in the future especially these two do to continue to play in the league.
